Consent to Participate in Content


We film with people who are of legal age and consent to participate.


As an adult media company, we are committed to ensuring that all participants are of legal age and give their fully informed, enthusiastic consent to participate.


That's why we ask you to:


  • Bring legal identification (driver's license, passport, etc.), and
  • Sign release forms before we start filming


We maintain these records on a hard drive and in physical form for perpetuity.


This is not only good ethical practice; it's also the law.


Federal law 18 U.S.C §§ 2257 governs record-keeping requirements relating to the production of sexually explicit materials.


"In order to protect children from sexual exploitation crimes, federal law imposes name- and age-verification, recordkeeping, and labeling requirements on producers of visual depictions of actual human beings engaged in actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct (See 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257, 2257A). This means that producers of pornography, or depictions of any sexual activity using actual people, are required to verify that the performers are of legal age (18–years–old or older) by maintaining records of the performers’ names and ages. They also are required to disclose the location of these records. Under the law, all records are subject to inspection." (U.S. Department of Justice)

Our release forms


Please take a look at our release forms here. They are in compliance with the legal documentation requirements of 18 U.S.C §§ 2257.


Among other things, we ask you to confirm that:


  • You are above 18 years of age.
  • You have disclosed your correct legal name.
  • You have produced a legal identification card.
  • You have not provided any false or misleading information.
  • You are participating of your own free will.
  • You grant us permission to share your likeness, voice, appearance and performance.

Complaint Policy and Procedures


Complaints about Content Legality


Cliff Media values and commits to ethical and legal adult media production. If you believe any video, image or other content hosted on vanessacliff.com may be illegal, contains or give the impression that it contains child exploitation materials or the depiction of nonconsensual activities, you may submit a written complaint via email to trustandsafety@vanessacliff.com


Your complaint must include:

  • Your full legal name and physical address
  • The specific URL(s) of the content on vanessacliff.com
  • The reason you believe the content may be illegal or otherwise violates our standards


We will review and resolve your complaint within seven (7) business days. In the event that such review yields evidence of illegal content, we will remove the content immediately.


Complaint Policy and Procedures


If you appear in any video, image, or content on vanessacliff.com and wish to have it removed for personal reasons, you may submit a removal request to trustandsafety@vanessacliff.com


Your request should include:

  • Your full legal name and physical address
  • The specific URL(s) of the content you wish removed 
  • An explanation of why you want the content taken down from vanessacliff.com


We will review your request and confirm that the appropriate consent was obtained, including written consent to being depicted in content for public distribution and download, as well as proof of legal age and identity through legal identification documentation. If consent cannot be established, or if you can demonstrate that the consent is void under applicable law, we will remove the content immediately. 


If you disagree with a decision regarding the removal of content, you may appeal by submitting a written appeal to trustandsafety@vanessacliff.com


Your appeal should include: 

  • Your full legal name and physical address
  • The specific URL(s) of the content you wish removed 
  • An explanation of why you disagree with the conclusions of our initial review


We will review and respond to your appeal within seven (7) business days.

Content Management Policy and Procedure


At Cliff Media, we take content management seriously. All content must comply with our Applicable Use / Behaviors Policy and applicable laws. Key aspects of our content management include:


Consent


We obtain written consent from all individuals appearing in our content prior to posting on our platform. This includes consent to distribute content and make it available for streaming and download. All participants sign release forms compliant with the requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257. These records are stored in encrypted digital and physical formats, accessible only by approved personnel.


Age Verification

We verify and document the age and identity of all featured performers as 18 or older at time of production. For each performer, we take a picture of a legal identifying document, such as driver’s license, state ID, or passport, that confirms the performer’s age and identity. 


Content Review

All user uploads are reviewed by our team against our before publishing live to the site. We rejected any content deemed illegal, abusive, or otherwise in violation of our Acceptable Use / Behaviors Policy. 


Marketing

Our marketing and promotions will not depict minors or non-consensual acts. Targeted ads are filtered to avoid showing mature content to minors.


Monitoring & Reporting

We monitor for signs of trafficking, exploitation, or other abuses. Users can report suspected violations to trustandsafety@vanessacliff.com. We promptly investigate and remove illegal content.


Data Security

18 U.S.C. § 2257 forms, pictures of identifying documents, and related user data are stored securely in encrypted digital and physical formats, accessible only by approved personnel.


Our Trust & Safety team oversees these measures to provide a safe, consensual environment on our platform in compliance with our policies and the law. Questions or concerns can be directed to trustandsafety@vanessacliff.com.


Chargeback Fraud Policy


At Cliff Media, we take fraud and illegitimate chargebacks seriously. We implement controls and monitor activity to prevent and mitigate fraudulent transactions. However, in cases where we detect or receive chargeback notices for suspected fraudulent purchases, we may take any of the following actions:


  • Suspend the customer account temporarily during investigation
  • Revoke access to any VOD purchases or subscription services related to the chargeback
  • Ban the account and/or related payment methods from future purchases
  • Pursue reimbursement for any reversed charges or fees incurred from the chargeback


Potential signs of fraud include:


  • Transactions involving stolen credit cards or payment method
  • Repeated attempts with different cards or payment methods
  • Accounts providing invalid identity or contact information
  • IP addresses, email addresses, or payment methods tied to previous fraud
  • Circumventing restrictions or security measures on our website
  • Multiple accounts tied to the same IP address, email address, etc.
  • Suspicious patterns of bulk purchases or subscriptions 


If we disable your account due to suspected fraud, you may appeal the decision by providing order details and proof of authorized use of the payment method(s). 


Legitimate customers who experience payment issues or mistakes can also contact our support team for assistance. By using our services, you agree to cooperate fully with any fraud investigations and not to initiate chargebacks on valid purchases. Information Security Addendum


At Cliff Media, we take information security very seriously and implement robust controls to protect personal data. This addendum provides additional detail on our security policies and procedures.


Data Encryption


  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. This includes data transmitted over both external/public networks and internal networks.
  • All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 or stronger encryption. This includes data stored on servers, databases, laptops, mobile devices, backup media, and in cloud storage.
  • Encryption keys are securely managed by our key management system and rotated regularly.
  • We encrypt personal data elements like names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.


Access Controls


  • Production infrastructure and data is only accessible to authorized staff members. Access is granted on a least-privilege basis.
  • All access to production systems is logged and monitored. Suspicious access attempts are flagged for investigation.
  • Multi-factor authentication is required for any remote access to our network and production systems.
  • Administrative access to servers and databases is restricted to authorized IT staff only.


Data Storage


  • Personally identifiable information is only stored in secured, controlled environments. This includes locked physical storage like filing cabinets as well as cloud-based storage protected by encryption controls.
  • Cloud storage providers are vetted for security and redundancy. High availability and disaster recovery protections are implemented.
  • Onsite data backups are performed daily and stored in a physically secured area with strict access controls. Backups are encrypted.
  • Media containing backups or sensitive data are securely erased or destroyed prior to disposal.

Acceptable Use / Behaviors Policy


At Cliff Media, we are committed to creating a respectful community where enthusiasts of adult content and entertainment can express themselves freely. However, we do have some guidelines for acceptable use and behaviors on our platforms.


The following are prohibited:

  • Illegal activities of any kind
  • Threats of violence or harm
  • Malicious harassment or bullying
  • Doxxing/revealing private information
  • Impersonation of others
  • Nonconsensual or involuntary pornography
  • Depictions of nonconsensual sexual acts
  • Child pornography or sexualization of minors


While adult content and language is permitted, all interactions on our platforms must be based on enthusiastic consent. This means:

  • Respecting others' boundaries and limits
  • Obtaining clear consent before any sexual engagement
  • Accepting rejection gracefully
  • Not pressuring others into unwanted interactions


Our goal is to foster an open, sex-positive atmosphere welcoming to adults of all genders, orientations, backgrounds, and interests. Discrimination or disrespect towards others' race, religion, gender, orientation, age, ability, or other attributes has no place on our platforms.
